Sarabi gallops to Metropolitan Fillies Trial Cup victory.

LAHORE -- The favoirite filly Sarabi strode to land the Metropolitan Fillies Trial Cup, which featured the seven-event card, during the Lahore Winter Meeting at the Racecourse on Sunday.

Sarabi, trained by Aleem-ud-Din, cruised to nine lengths victory over filly Fox Trot in the race termed for four-year-old fillies and run over 1400 metres.

Bay colt Farhan King triumphed in the supporting event Yasoob Plate class VII division 1 run over 1400 metres. The colt lived up to its star breeding powering as it edged bay colt Big Thought by half-a-length. The favourite colt, Sir finished third. The winner was given a masterful ride by Safdar Hussain who later completed a grand double on Sarabi to earn distinction.
