ISLAMABAD -- First Lady Samina Alvi has stressed on the need to come together to cure breast cancer and create awareness amongst masses.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Wednesday, she said one woman dies in every fifteen minutes due to breast cancer in Pakistan.

She said breast cancer diagnosed at early stage is curable. Samina Alvi said affordable treatment in this regard must be available for all and hospitals should take the initiative to cut their treatment costs.
