Sambrial areas deprived of potable water.

NAROWAL -- The residents of several areas of Sambrial have been deprived of clean drinking water for the last 15 days due to a nonfunctional transformer that supplies electricity to the water turbine.

Due to the closure of the water turbine, about 20,000 residents of Mohalla Fazalpura, Mohalla Nawabpura and Mohalla Khairaitpura of Sambarial were living without the basic facility of water.

The citizens, Zafar Khokhar and Ehtisham Ali, said potable water was coming from other areas of the city, which was not sufficient. They said the people were forced to drink dirty water due to unavailability of clean water.
