Salman Shehbaz declared 'fugitive' in money laundering case.

LAHORE -- The accountability court judge Chaudhry Ameer Muhammad Khan on Monday declared Salman Shehbaz Sharif, the son of PML-N President Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, as proclaimed offender in money laundering case.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) pleaded the accused to be declared absconder due to his consistent absence from court hearings.

Accountability Court Judge upheld NAB's request, he had been summoned multiple times for questioning but failure to appear in court for the scheduled proceedings resulted in the decision.
