Rupee continues to lose value against dollar in interbank.

The Pakistani rupee maintained its downward trend for the ninth consecutive working day, as it fell by Rs1.58 against the US dollar in the interbank market on Wednesday.

The greenback was being traded at RsRs233.50 in interbank.

The rupee has been losing ground against the dollar since Sept 2. It fell by Rs9.2 during the last week to close at Rs228.18.
