Rs400m fixed for revamp of hospital.

GUJRAT -- The Punjab government has approved a programme for strategic transformation of Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Teaching Hospital (ABSTH).

As per the programme, the buildings of old blocks of the hospital will be revamped at a cost of Rs400 million as a sum of Rs100m has been earmarked initially for the execution of the project, say sources in the local administration.

They say the revamping of buildings has been part of specialised healthcare and medical education department's aim to improve the building infrastructure of the tertiary care hospitals in the province.
