Rs110.4m distributed for building houses ravaged by flood.

MIANWALI -- A rehabilitation fund of Rs110.4 million has been distributed among 305 flood-affected people on the loss of their houses in Tehsil Esakhel of the district at two ceremonies held at Qamar-Mushani and Wandha Sultanwala.

Speaking at the occasion, Mianwali Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Omair said during recent floods large portion of Isakhel was badly affected and as per survey report cheques are being distributed to support the affectees to rebuild their houses.

The survey was conducted by teams of departments of revenue, provincial disaster management authority and Pakistan army.

As per government schedule, the owner of mud house will receive Rs200,000 and Rs400,000 for concrete house.

He said the government had already paid compensation amounts to families having human loss. He said in the second phase as per survey reports the people having loss of their livestock and standing crops would receive payments.
