Role of Kazakhstan in Peaceful World: Astana Peace Process for Syria.

For Syria, the "X hour" is approaching: the country is moving towards the post-conflict settlement stages and is preparing for the development of a new constitution. The UN hopes that the first meeting of the Syrian Constitutional Committee will be held before the end of this year. However, the United States demands to speed up the process and even set an ultimatum to the UN: to resolve the issue of forming a constitutional committee strictly till December 14. Otherwise, Washington is insisting on curtail both the Astana and Sochi settlement processes. What does it threaten with? For a start, briefly about what are both processes. The meeting in Sochi took place in January 30, 2018 and was a one-time action, which was rather declarative in order to emphasize Russia's involvement.
