Robbers kill trader.

RAWALPINDI -- A trader was gunned down while another person was shot and injured during a robbery in which Rs3.5 million were allegedly snatched from them by two motorcycle riders at Fawara Chowk on Sunday, police said.

The incident occurred when Hamza Shah, a wholesale dealer, was returning to his shop along with his assistant Yahya Khan after collecting cash from his clients. He was intercepted by two motorcycle riders at Fawara Chowk, not far from the city police station and offices of DSP city.

Some traffic wardens were also standing across the road when the incident occurred. Both Hamza and Yahya were shot on offering resistance. The former was killed on the spot and the latter sustained critical injuries.

Relatives of the victim claimed that the robbers also took away Rs3.5 million from him...
