Robbers, burglars strike at 10 places in Taxila, Wah.

TAXILA -- Robbers and burglars struck at 10 places in Taxila and Wah and deprived citizens of cash and other valuables worth millions of rupees during the last 48 hours.

In the first incident, five armed men intercepted Naqash Mehmood in Wah Saddar police limits and snatched his motorcycle. As he put up resistance, the robbers shot and injured him and took away the bike.In the same police limits, burglars broke into a tyre warehouse located on GT Road near Malakand stop and took away 30 tyres.

In Taxila, three armed men looted cash and mobile phones from a medical store located on Museum Road. Police failed to trace the robbers even after obtaining CCTV footage.

In the same police limits, four robbers looted valuables worth Rs0.150 million from a bakery.

Shoaib Bashrat reported to the same police that two armed men snatched two mobile phones and Rs26,000 from his shop while Adil Ali Khan complained four robbers looted Rs50,000 and three cell phones from his shop.
