Road accidents leave two dead in Lakki Marwat.

LAKKI MARWAT -- Two people including a 12-year-old boy were killed and four others received injuries in separate road accidents during Eid days.

Police and hospital sources said that a speedy pickup truck coming from Wanda Shahabkhel ran over Inamullah, 12, Mudassir,10, and Sajjad Khan,13, when they were sitting at Chauni ground in Landiwah. Inamullah succumbed to his injuries while being shifted to hospital.

Police registered a case against the driver, Zahidullah, on the complaint of Abdul Jabbar, the uncle of Inamullah.

Separately, two motorcyclists were wounded when a speedy motorcar coming from Dera Ismail Khan hit their bike near Serai Gambila on Indus Highway.

The injured persons were identified as Nek Daraz Shah and Wasiq, residents of Bannu. They were shifted to rural health centre in Serai Gambila town. One of the injured, Wasiq, was referred to district headquarters hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced dead.

Meanwhile a man was injured in a hand grenade attack in Chuharkhel village in the limits of Shaheed Haibat Ali Khan police station.
