Following is the text of press note issued by Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA)

The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:

Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 31200 cusecs and Outflows 65000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 8900 cusecs and Outflows 8900 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 32400 cusecs and Outflows 40000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 77000 cusecs and Outflows 70200 cusecs.

Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 84800 cusecs and Outflows 78800 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows: 71000 cusecs and Outflows 68000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 51400 cusecs and Outflows 51200 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 4700 cusecs and Outflows Nil cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 44600 cusecs and Outflows 36000 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 33500 cusecs and Outflows 9100 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 10500 cusecs and Outflows 2000 cusecs.

Reservoirs (Level and Storage):

Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1392 feet, present level 1516.55 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 4.231 million acre feet (MAF).
