Rickshaw impounded for defaulting on 74 challans.

LAHORE -- The traffic police on Saturday impounded a rickshaw for defaulting on 74 e-challans.

A rickshaw driver had been issued e-challans 74 times over violation of traffic signals at different times, mostly near GOR-II, Mozang. However, he failed to pay the total fine worth Rs14,800 because of which the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) had blacklisted his vehicle.

The authority had also issued directions to wardens to impound the rickshaw.

On Saturday, the vehicle was intercepted by a warden, its e-challan details were checked through the Safe Cities App and it was found that the rickshaw had defaulted on 74 challans, therefore, it...
