Revenue for next budget projected at Rs657bn.

PESHAWAR -- The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet was informed on Sunday that the province's revenue for the next budget had been projected at Rs657 billion or one per cent higher than the current budget.

The cabinet meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Mahmood Khan.

The cabinet approved the budget strategy paper II for fiscal year 2019-20, proposals for resource mobilisation and appointment of the chief executive officer of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Oil and Gas Development Company.

Secretary finance Shakeel Qadir Khan briefed the cabinet about the BSP-II and budgetary estimates contained in it. The cabinet was informed that province's revenue had been pitched at Rs657 billion, which was one per cent higher than Rs648 billion current budget.
