Retail shops allowed to operate throughout week in KP.

PESHAWAR -- Adviser to the chief minister on information and public relations, Ajmal Khan Wazir has said following the orders of the Supreme Court, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to keep all the retail shops across the province open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (May 22 to 24).

He said home delivery and takeaway services would also be allowed to continue after 5pm.

He expressed these views while briefing mediapersons here on Wednesday, according to a statement.

Mr Wazir, however, requested the people to ensure social distancing and observe other precautionary measures during the Eid days to avoid spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
