OUR entertainment industry provides us many reasons to spend time in front of television surfing channels while fasting. But it is not something that should be practised in Ramazan

It is the month that provides us the chance to seek forgiveness and mercy of God by avoiding all the unnecessary activities we enjoy during the rest of the year. It demands our full attention towards praying and doing good deeds.

Still every night after Iftar, many entertainment channels have started game shows, which attract a large number of audience. People watch these shows with their families ignoring the time of taraweeh, which is a source of blessings in this holy month.
