Residents complain against foreigners for creating disturbances.

ISLAMABAD -- Residents of Shams Colony have complained about disturbances being created by foreigners from an African country residing among them.

Elders and notables of the colony raised the issue at an open kutchery held at H-13 by Senior Superintendent of Police Industrial Area Zone Zubair Ahmed Shaikh.

Police officials told the SP that five foreign families had hired houses and were living in the colony.

They are habitual of roaming in the streets, remaining awake till late night and making noises, including playing music at high pitch, the residents told the officer.

The residents said they used to go to bed early but since the foreigners started living among them it was hard to have a sound and peaceful sleep. They said children and elders were the most affected due to the situation.
