Rescue 1122 hold mock exercise at river Chenab.

MUZAFFARGARH -- Rescue 1122 on Saturday conducted a mock exercise at the west bank of river Chenab to deal with possible flood situation.

The Muzaffargarh and Multan teams jointly demonstrated their skills and preparations for dealing with possible flood hazards.

Deputy Commissioner Muzaffargarh Ali Annan Qamar graced the occasion as chief guest.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Shahrukh Cheema, Assistant Commissioner Muzaffargarh Jamil Shah, District Emergency Officer Dr Hussain Mian and PDMA Coordinator Irfan Sial watched the exercise.

Stalls were also set up by Civil Defense, Health Department, Livestock as well as other welfare organizations such as Doaba Foundation and FDO.

District Emergency Officer Dr Hussain Mian briefed the deputy commissioner about the flood preparedness of Rescue 1122 workers and informed him of the most vulnerable places due to flood in Muzaffargarh.

Rescue 1122 personnel also set up stalls at the Incident Command Post, where Deputy Commissioner was briefed on the functionality and use of flood...
