Raahim bags U-18 crown.

KARACHI -- The 9th KC Indus Pharma National Seniors and Juniors Tennis Championships came to a close on Friday with Raahim Veqar lifting the trophy of the boys U-18 singles here at the Karachi Club hardcourts on Friday.

Raahim emerged victorious defeating Samer Zaman 6-1, 6-3 while the U-14 singles final was won by Muzammil Bhand who dominated Samer Zaman with a score of 4-1, 4-0.

The pair of Muneer Derbari and Muzammil triumphed in the U-18 doubles final after overpowering the duo of Danish Hidayat and Soyam Sham 8-6.

Meanwhile, Zainab Ali won the girls U-18 singles final, beating Eschelle Asif 6-3, 6-2 but Eschelle atoned for the missed opportunity as she claimed the U-14 title after trouncing Daliah Ashraf 4-1, 5-4.
