Qureshi, Lavrov discuss Corona situation.

Islamabad -- Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov held a telephonic conversation on Thursday and discussed the Covid-19 pandemic situation.

Matters of mutual interest, cooperation at the multilateral fora, prospects of enhanced bilateral cooperation, and regional issues were also discussed, according to a press release issued by Foreign Office.

FM Qureshi offered condolences on the loss of precious lives in Russia due to the Covid-19 pandemic. He also underlined that Pakistan considered Russia an important partner and desired to forge a long-term and multi-dimensional partnership.
