Qureshi alleges code violation in PP-217.

LAHORE -- Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi says the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) should take notice of violation of the code of conduct through development work in PP-217.

He said the public money was being used to win by-poll in PP-217. 'I have shared the picture of the development work with ECP officials and it has taken notice and they are expecting legal action on the violation,' he said.

Mr Qureshi was addressing a press conference at the office of the Majlis Wahadat Muslimeen (MWM) south Punjab in Multan. MWM south Punjab president Allama Iqtdar Naqvi, Saleem Abbas Siddiqi, Allama Qazi Nadir Husain Alvi and others were also present.
