Qaim Shah approaches SHC for protective bail.

KARACHI -- Former Sindh Chief Minister Sindh and current Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Tuesday approached the Sindh High Court (SHC) and filed an application seeking protective bail in connection with a f National Accountability Bureau (NAB) notice served on him.

Qaim Ali Shah is accused for illegally allotting pieces of land in Malir to Bahria Town project. The NAB had issued the notice to Shah in illegal transfer of land case. The NAB is investigating against the Shah and others I this case. In his plea, Qaim Ali Shah said the NAB had issued notice to him in the case and it could result in his arrest. He pleaded the court to issue orders for his protective bail. Shah stated that he did not have objections on investigation of the NAB but it should be stopped from arresting him.
