Punjab to send 5,000 tons of wheat to KP.

LAHORE -- The Punjab government has decided to dispatch 5,000 tons of wheat to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on a daily basis.

The decision was made in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar here on Monday, says a handout.

Addressing the meeting, the chief minister said that helping the people of Khyber PK was our responsibility adding that Punjab government would provide wheat from its stocks as a goodwill gesture.
