Punjab recovers occupied land worth Rs 1.4 billion in six months on CM's direction.

LAHORE -- The Punjab government has recovered occupied land worth Rs 1.4 billion in six months on Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar's direction.

According to media reports the Anti Corruption Establishment Punjab is taking indiscriminate action against the mafia which has occupied government lands as the CM is determined to make the province corruption free.

The ACE received 2,809 complaints on its mobile app in six months following which 140 inquiries were initiated. The authorities also recovered Rs 1.7 million in cash.
