Punjab police will provide all modern policing software to GB police: DIG IT.

Lahore -- DIG IT Waqas Nazir said that Punjab Police software designed for modern policing and improvement in service delivery is exemplary for other provinces and Punjab Police is also providing professional training, also providing these softwares to police force of other provinces so that they too can benefit from these advanced information technology programs to improve the quality of policing as well as facilitate the citizens.

He further said that the training received by the officers of Gilgit-Baltistan in the field of software training at the Police Training College, Chung would not only improve their overall working but also the process of protection of life and property of the people and service to the people.

He further said that these 35 computer operators would go to their districts after training and provide professional training to other staff and the process of transfer of police working system to modern information technology would be further expedited.

He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held at Police Training College Chung today as a special guest on the completion of training of 35 computer operators of Gilgit-Baltistan Police.

Speaking on the occasion, Commandant Police Training College, Chung DIG, Shehzada Sultan said that the 40-day training provided computer operators with the latest software used by Punjab Police and professional training have been given to them including Police Station Record Management System, Complaint Management System, Human Resource Management...
