Punjab plan to upgrade infrastructure at 16 smaller cities.

KHANEWAL -- Provincial government is all set to launch Punjab Cities Programme to upgrade infrastructure at small cities and build capacity of staff of sixteen municipal committees in the province over a period of next five years.

The programme was being launched with the cooperation of World Bank and also included Khanewal municipal committee, says Ghulam Murtaza, an official of Punjab Municipal Development Fund (PMDF), Lahore, in a briefing to media here on Tuesday.

Deputy Commissioner Agha Zaheer Abbas Sherazi, ADCG, ACs and other officials were present.
