Punjab information minister assures CPNE for distribution of govt. ads on just, equality basis.

LAHORE -- Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz Ul Hassan Chohan Tuesday assured newspaper editors that distribution of government advertisements will be done on just and equality basis, and government will not compromise on freedom of media. He was addressing at a meeting of the Punjab Committee of Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) held here at a local hotel. Arif Nizami - President CPNE, Raja Jehangir, Secretary Information Punjab and Aslam Dogar, Director General, Public Relations were also in attendance. Meeting was presided by Ayaz Khan, Chairman Punjab Committee CPNE. "We have no personal agenda and want to take everyone onboard. Indian media is very patriotic but unfortunately this situation is totally reversed in Pakistan. We hope that Pakistani media will keep national interest on first priority.
