Punjab imposes Section-144 to curb Oxygen cylinder hoarding.

LAHORE -- The Punjab Government has decided to impose Section 144 for a period of two months against in an effort to stop hoarding of oxygen cylinders in the province.

According to details, on the recommendation of the Department of Primary and Secondary Health Care, Punjab Home Department has enforced Section 144 against hoarding of oxygen cylinders, regulators, concentrators, pulse oximeters and against illegal profiteering.

Secretary Health Punjab Captain (Retd) Muhammad Usman said that hoarding and illicit profiteering could cause severe problems for coronavirus patients.
