Punjab government inaugurates 50 more filtration plants.

Lahore -- The Punjab government on Tuesday inaugurated 50 more filtration plants with collaboration of Welfare Organizations.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that clean drinking water will be provided to 15 million people under Punjab Aab e Pak Authority and NGOs by the end of December.

1500 filtration plants by Punjab Aab e Pak Authority (PAPA) will be completed by the end of December this year. Provision of health facilities, education and clean drinking water is top most priority of the government.

Governor Punjab was addressing the a ceremony with regards to inauguration of filtration plants installed at a mosque, church and other places on Tuesday in Hacharr .

On this occasion, Chairman Punjab Aab e Pak Authority Dr Shakeel Ahmad, Member National Assembly Rahat Aman ullah Bhatti, central member of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf Kanwar Imran Saeed, former Member Provincial Assembly Mian Abdul Rauf, Malik Mohammad and others were present.

Chaudhry Sarwar said that Punjab Aab e Pak Authority is fulfilling the promise of providing clean drinking water to public, adding that by the end of this year, 1500 filtration plants will be completed and clean drinking water will be provided to 8 million people, and at the same time, clean drinking water will be...
