PU suspends 27 students for clashes.

LAHORE -- The Punjab University on Monday suspended 27 students of the Punjabi, Pashtun and Baloch councils and the Islami Jamiat Talaba (IJT) for their alleged involvement in three clashes at the university.

The students were found guilty of clashing with each other in three different incidents and damaging public property.

About 20 students were suspended from attending classes over a fight in hostels No 18 and 19 on Oct 27. The students were armed with iron rods, clubs, stones and bricks. Both the groups attacked each other and injured students and security staff.
