PTI's Minar-e-Pakistan rally caused Rs8m loss to Greater Iqbal Park.

LAHORE -- Lahore's Greater Iqbal Park suffered a loss of approximately Rs8 million due to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) Minar-e-Pakistan rally held a day earlier, media reported on Sunday.

Parks and Horticulture Authority Lahore (PHA) has started a survey for the damages in the park and estimated the loss to be around Rs12 million. However, the final report will be issued by March 27 (tomorrow).

Moreover, due to the rally, most of the parks and small plants of the Greater Iqbal Park were destroyed, while the locks installed on the gates by the PHA administration were also broken by the participants of the rally.
