PTI issues women candidates' priority list.

LAHORE -- Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has issued the party's initial priority list of its women candidates for the reserved seats in the Punjab Assembly.

The list signed by chairman Mr Khan carries PTI central Punjab president Dr Yasmin Rashid on the top, followed by party spokesperson Mussarat Jamshed Cheema, Batool Janjua, Firdous Rai, Shahida Malika, Syeda Zahra Naqvi and Basima Chaudhry.

It is reliably learnt that party has decided to finalise the women priority list soon after the next elections.

Sources say the party will assess the seats won in all three regions of Punjab and finalise its women candidates for the reserved seats on the basis of the winners' list.

A well-placed source in the party told Dawn that the party chairman would himself interview women candidates from all the three Punjab regions in the days to come and revise the priority list for the reserved seats.
