PTI govt toppled through conspiracy: Khattak.

CHARSADDA -- Pakistan Tehrek-i-Insaf provincial president Pervez Khattak said here on Monday that the government of former prime minister Imran Khan was removed through conspiracy but it backfired on the handlers and his popularity graph increased.

Addressing a convention of PTI workers in Tangi, he said that despite all conspiracies Imran Khan emerged as a strong and popular leader of the country. He said that popularity of Imran Khan could be judged from results of the recent by-elections as he gave humiliating defeat to government.

PTI Tangi president Irshad Ali presided over the convention, which was also addressed by former governor Shah Farman, Fazal Mohammad Khan, PMA Khalid Khan, Arif Ahmedzai, Arshad Umarzai, Aziz Khan, MNA Anwar Taj, Haji Zaffar Khan and others.

Imran Khan was scheduled to address the participants of the convention through video link but bad weather disturbed the plan.

Pervez Khattak said that fresh elections were the only solution to the prevailing crises in the country. He said that fresh polls would steer the country out of the present mess.

He said that inflation increased manifold after imposition of 'imported' government. He said that life of people was made miserable. He added that high prices of daily use...
