PTI Defectors Form 'Democrats' Group.

LAHORE -- A group of like-minded members who resigned from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have announced the formation of a new group called 'Democrats' instead of joining any other political party.

Under the chairmanship of Dr. Murad Raas and Hashim Dogar, both of whom were cabinet members in the Buzdar-led Punjab government, a meeting was held where the name of the group was finalized.

During the meeting, it was decided that the like-minded members would refrain from contacting or joining Jahangir Khan Tareen's group at present. They would maintain a separate identity as Democrats, and the identities of the group members would not be disclosed. The...
