PTI body endorses nomination of Elahi as Punjab CM.

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) Core Committee on Monday endorsed the decision of nominating Chaudhry Parvez Elahi of PML-Q as the Chief Minister of Punjab.

The endorsedment came at a meeting of PTI core committee held under the chairmanship of Imran Khan in Islamabad following PTI's landslide victory in Punjab by-election with 16 seats of the provincial assembly against PML-N which could secure only four seats

In the meeting, the party also hailed the historic success in the Punjab by-elections. The participants also reviewed the future organizational and political strategy of the PTI and decided that attention will be given to local and by-elections in Sindh.
