PTI activists threaten protest at Banigala.

TIMERGARA -- Disgruntled workers of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf in Jandol, Samar Bagh, here have announced to stage a protest sit-in at Bani Gala, Islamabad, if their grievances regarding violation of merit in health department are not addressed.

A workers convention in this regard was held at Samar Bagh the other day, which was attended by scores of disgruntled workers and addressed by former PTI candidate for PK-16 Sarbiland Khan, Haji Hayatullah, Darvesh Khan and others.

They alleged that the party had been hijacked by four people, including MNA Bashir Khan.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sarbiland, who is leading the disgruntled workers, said that he would never bow to the MNA's tactics. He said that earlier he had quitted Jamaat-i-Islami because of nepotism in that party. He said that merit had been violated in recruitments in the health department.

'I joined the PTI because of its slogan of merit and justice,' Mr Sarbiland said, adding that now merit was being violated in this government.
