PTA issues advisory for blocking stolen devices.

ISLAMABAD -- The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has issued a public advisory detailing the procedure to block stolen mobile phones and asked people to report such incidents as soon as possible.

The PTA said mobile phones will be blocked within 16 hours of a report. It specified the various methods through which stolen or misplaced mobile phones can be reported to be blocked.
