PSMA's appeal declared admissible by IHC.

ISLAMABAD -- The intra-court appeal of Pakistan Sugar Mills Association against the Sugar Inquiry Commission's report has been declared admissible by the Islamabad High Court.

The IHC raised questions about when the report was presented to the Cabinet, does making the report public mean giving it to the media? And will the commission become illegal if the notification is not published in time?

Makhdoom Ali Khan, lawyer for the Sugar Mills Association, said the report was tabled to the cabinet on May 21 and passed on the same day. Making the report public meant publishing it in the Gazette of Pakistan, he said.
