ISLAMABAD -- Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh has urged all provincial governments to strictly monitor rates of various commodities to ensure availability of essential items for the consumers at affordable price. Chairing a meeting of National Price Monitoring Committee in Islamabad today (Monday), he asked the provincial governments and all other concerned authorities to take immediate proactive measures to control increase in prices.
