Protest held outside Indian High Commission in Islamabad.

ISLAMABAD -- The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter organized a protest demonstration outside the Indian High Commission in Islamabad on Sunday in connection with Kashmir Black Day.

The protest demonstration was held to condemn India's forcible occupation of Jammu and Kashmir on this day in 1947 when India landed its troops in the territory and occupied it. Hurriyat leaders, civil society members, businessmen and women participated in the protest.

APHC AJK leaders including Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Syed Yousuf Naseem, Abdul Hameed Lone, Mazoor-ul-Haq Butt and Syed Manzoor Ahmad Shah appealed to the United Nations and human rights organizations to play their role in putting an end to human rights violations by Indian forces in...
