Protest held against private laboratory of Karachi.

KARACHI -- Members of civil society staged a sit-in protest against the administration of the private laboratory in front of the press club here on Monday where they held placards and shouted slogans.

The protesters including Abdul Razzaq Lashari, Faraz Khuhawar, Naeem Ali Jatoi, Naveed Ali Jatoi, Naseem Ali Bhutto and others alleged that inexperienced technicians are working in the private South City Laboratory located on the VIP road of Larkana city without a qualified pathologist and proper testing machines. They further alleged that the patients are being referred to the said laboratory by various doctors where the test reports of the patients are being issued on the fictitious basis of the technician besides charging heavy fees from the poor ailing patients using a cut of Rs 50.
