Team South Africa has already landed on the soil of Pakistan. The 21-member strong South African side will play two Tests and a Twenty 20 series against Pakistan. This is the first time after a gap of fourteen years that the South African squad will be showing their talent in the grounds of Pakistan. South Africa's arrival heralds the arrival of quality international cricket to Pakistan; this is another important side that is here for cricket.

Ever since 2015, Pakistan's attempts to organise international cricket at home have been successful. Bringing the deserted stadiums back to life by convincing international teams to play in Pakistan is no small feat. Successive governments and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) deserve credit for bringing cricket back home. Hopefully, other teams will also find the courage to visit Pakistan soon after South Africa's successful fixture. The year 2021 holds a line up of several other teams, including New Zealand, England and West Indies for Pakistan.
