Progress on various reform initiatives reviewed.

LAHORE -- A meeting of Provincial Working Group on Ease of Doing Business and Regulatory Modernization Initiative was convened to review the implementation status of Sixth Reform Action Plan. The meeting was co-chaired by Hashim Jawan Bakht, Minister for Finance, and Jawad Rafique, Chief Secretary, Punjab. During the meeting, progress on various reform initiatives being implemented by different departments was reviewed. These reforms initiatives will facilitate and improve the business environment in the province.

Imran Sikandar Baloch, Secretary Planning and Development Board, Punjab gave detailed briefing on the implementation status of the reform plan. Furthermore, an Ease of Doing Business Dashboard and mobile application developed by PIU, Planning and Development Board in support with the World Bank were also launched to actively monitor the reforms under implementation.
