Professor among three killed in accidents.

KHUZDAR -- Three persons, including a professor of the Balochistan University, were killed and three others injured in two accidents in Lasbela and Khuzdar.

Police said that Professor Dur Mohammad Pirkani was going from Quetta to Karachi in his car. When it reached the Uthal area of Lasbela district on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway, the car overturned at a sharp turn due to over-speeding.

As a result, Professor Pirkani died on the spot while his daughter Nimra Pirkani and two other persons were injured.

Police shifted the body and the injured victims to the district hospital.

Mr Pirkani was also a TV and radio artiste and had performed in many TV dramas, including the popular Brohi language play Zarkhona Na Gin.
