Proclaimed offender killed by rivals in Lakki Marwat.

LAKKI MARWAT -- An outlaw was killed and two others sustained wounds when they came under attack by their rivals in Wanda Aurangzeb village of Kurrum Par area, police said on Wednesday.

The incident occurred in the limits of Dadiwala police station.

Police said the outlaw, Sher Nawaz, his brother and a guest were sitting in a guestroom when armed rivals of Nawaz came there and opened fire, injuring the three.

The wounded were named Nawaz, Jamshed and Sakhi Rehman, who were shifted to a local hospital, but Nawaz could not survive, according to Nasir Kamal, a brother of the deceased, who lodged complaint with the police against Sahib Noor, Daud Khan, Noor Zaman and Wasaib.

He said his family had an enmity with the attackers.

Police said Sher Nawaz was a proclaimed offender as he was wanted in over a dozen cases of murder, attempted murder, drug trafficking and attack on law-enforcers. They said they had registered a case against the killers.
