Probe into torture of minor student ordered.

TOBA TEK SINGH -- The district education authority chief executive officer on Sunday ordered an inquiry into the alleged torture of a minor student by his teacher at a private school of Gojra.

In his order, CEO Mehr Aftab Ahmad Sindilah said he had received video clips and pictures with a complaint about the torture of the student that had also gone viral on the social media.

He said the clip showed a class one student of a private school had been terribly beaten by his teacher, ignoring the ban imposed by the school education department on corporal punishment to the students.
