'Privatisation' of pathology lab of Nishtar rejected.

MULTAN -- The doctors' bodies have rejected the plan of the provincial government to outsource the pathology lab of the Nishtar Hospital, Multan.

The provincial government has started the process to hand over the laboratory to private companies and announced focal persons for it.

In a press release on Monday, YDA (Reformers) patron-in-chief Dr Mian Adnan, President Dr Zubair Siddique, Secretary General Dr Salman Lashari and spokesperson Dr Saeed Ahmed termed the government decision anti-people while demanding that the government withdraw the decision.

They said the decision would prove fatal for the poor patients.
