President urges industrial sectors to prepare for challenges of emerging technologies.

ISLAMABAD -- President Dr. Arif Alvi on Tuesday said that the emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Robotics and Internet of Things (IoTs) were poised to unleash the next wave of digital disruption, and industrial sectors should prepare for it. The President expressed these views while chairing a meeting of the Taskforce on Emerging Technologies here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.

The meeting was also attended by Minster for Information Technology and Telecommunication Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, and various IT experts from across the country, a press release issued by the President's Media Office here said.
