President Arif Alvi rejects NAB employee appeal plea against his conviction.

ISLAMABAD -- President Arif Alvi has rejected appeal plea filed by NAB personal against his conviction for leaking the official secrets for the purpose of corruption.

According to media reports President Arif Alvi said NAB should take action against other officers involved in the cases of leaking official secrets. It is regrettable that corruption was committed in NAB which is institution meant for eliminating corruption.

As per report Noman Iqbal, a grade-16 employee of NAB provided official secrets to an unauthorized person illegally. This employee was demoted to lower post for five years after his involvement in the matter was proved in the inquiry.
