President Alvi praises Javed Miandad for supporting Test cricket's return.

The president of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi appreciated former Test captain Javed Miandad for going out at Pindi Stadium to strongly support the return of Test cricket in Pakistan after a gap of almost 10 years.

In a meeting with the legendary batsman, Alvi praised Miandad's gesture to witness the historic Test in the stadium. 'It was a great gesture by you that you personally went to the stadium. Your presence would have boosted the confidence of players and obviously the fans,' he told.
